Heroes for Today
Introduction:
David’s mighty men played key roles in helping David become King. Their service to David is well noted. What is a hero? “A person of distinguished valor or performance admired for his noble qualities.” What is an idol? “any person or thing blindly adored or revered.” One is uplifting and encouraging while the other is deceitful and destructive. It is good for us to know the difference. There are many kinds of heroes: imaginary; real; spiritual. There are some lessons we can learn from the biblical heroes in 1 Chron. 11.
I. 1 Chron. 11:10-11—_______________________ or Josheb-bassebeth.
