Introduction:
Jesus has exited the Galilee region and is now in Judea beyond the Jordan. As He travels throughout the region—he is met by large crowds and heals many. (Mt. 19:2) After Pharisees approach Him and question Him concerning marriage and divorce, He blesses little children. (Mt. 19:3-12, 13-15) As Jesus and the apostles are getting ready to leave toward Jerusalem a man runs to Him asking what was needed to inherit eternal life. Matthew 19:20 says the man was young. As we take a close look at the conversation between he and Our Lord we might see an impulsive man who was quickly given to emotion and often acted before thinking. However,…
