A Story of Betrayal: Judas
Introduction:
Perhaps there is not a greater; more well known story of betrayal than that of Judas betraying Jesus. The legacy of Jesus will live on in infamy. Acts 2:22-23 tells us that it was according to God’s preordained purpose to see Jesus be delivered into the hands of Israel. This was all part of God’s plan to redeem men from sin. It wasn’t that God could not prevent Christ’s death—it was according to his purpose.
