Women of the Bible: Hannah
Introduction:
The story of Hannah is told in 1 Sam. 1-3. She was the mother of Samuel—one of Israel’s greatest judges. She was fervent in her prayer & her prayer life. She was willing to follow though on a costly commitment. This is an intriguing story on how God hears & answers prayer. We also see God’s concern for those who are oppressed & afflicted.
I. 1:1-9—Hannah’s situation.
