Refuge for the Believer

Introduction:
    The story of Rahab is contained in the book of Joshua. Much of the reading in this book details Israel’s conquest of Canaan. The story of Rahab is one that is relevant for today’s Christian. It is a story of God’s universal mercy to people lost in sin. It is a story detailing the pardon God will offer anyone who will yield to His will. We must not dismiss Rahab—as a lying prostitute—but must look at her faith, and the refuge offered her by God.
