Introduction:
We live in a society given to self-satisfaction & instant gratification. Society is full of sound-byte attention spans; busy lives; and little time to stop & relax. It can become easy to compartmentalize everything. If we are not careful, we can put God in a little compartment and only pull Him out as necessary. One of the natural results of this is giving God our leftovers. There is no greater problem facing the Lord’s church today than Christians who are content to give God the leftovers of their time and money. This is why many congregations are no longer growing; stagnant; or in a state of decline, decay, or death. The greatest need is for Christians to awake; arise; and increase their service to the King.
