Pitching One's Tent Toward Sodom

Introduction:
Judges sometimes sentence offenders to community service—requiring them to tell others about their lifestyle, where it got them, and not to "follow their tracks." Often it seems that the negative example of a person who has ruined his life helps other avoid the same pitfalls. Lot is someone who "ruined his life." The decision he made in Gen. 13 ultimately led to his losing those he loved; everything he owned; and falling victim to immorality.
