The Bible & Baptism (2)
Introduction:
John Isaac Edwards has written: we live in the midst of a society which may look upon baptism as mere foolishness. The religious world has shattered what the Bible teaches on baptism. They have ridiculed and mocked Bible baptism by their own type of baptism… (Ellettsville church bulletin, 4/8/1993) That there is confusion on this subject is well known. God has spoken plainly on the subject of baptism! We can read and understand that He has said on this subject—as well as a variety of other subjects in Scripture. (Eph. 3:3-5) God’s grace has been shown by God giving us directions on what we must do to be saved. Baptism is just one of the things a person must do to be added to the Lord’s body.
