Saved by Sincerity Alone?

Introduction:
   
A common attitude and believe of some is that simply being religiously sincere is all that it takes to please God. When an objective study is begun in the New Testament—one will find that it takes more than sincerity alone to please God. While we understand that we must be sincere in our obedience to God—being just sincere is not enough!

I. Saul of Tarsus was religiously sincere—but he was ____________________!
   
A. Acts 23:1—Even though a Pharisee & a persecutor of the church his conscience clear!
        1. Serving God faithfully as a Jew. But sincerely wrong!
        2. Acts 9:6—Saul sincerely did what Jesus told him to do.
