Hack Agag
to Pieces
Text: 1 Sam. 15
Introduction
In 1
Sam. 15 we find the story of Saul, the Amalekites, Samuel, and Agag, the king
of the Amalekite nation. Amalek had long been the enemy of Israel. Saul was commanded by God to utterly destroy the Amalekites. Saul failed to do so
and was told by God through Samuel that his days as king over Israel were numbered. There are many lessons we can learn from the story in this chapter.
